Chiliz Expands Fan Tokens Across Multiple Blockchains

Chiliz, a leading platform in the sports and entertainment industry, has announced an expansion of its Fan Token ecosystem through integration with LayerZero.

The partnership enables tokens to be available across multiple blockchains, including Solana and Base. This development unlocks wider liquidity and global access for fans, allowing them to engage more deeply through voting, rewards, and experiences on the Socios platform.

The expansion also opens up faster networks and DeFi markets for Chiliz's Fan Token ecosystem, which already has over 70 teams onboard and has generated over $700 million. This move is expected to bring millions of new users into crypto ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
