US Crypto Market Structure Bill Advances Amid Regulatory Uncertainty

The US government is moving closer to passing a comprehensive crypto market structure bill. The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, introduced by House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill, aims to establish clear rules for the digital asset industry.

The bill assigns primary regulatory oversight of digital commodities to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) while limiting the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) jurisdiction. This split in authority is expected to bring much-needed clarity to the industry and reduce regulatory uncertainty.
