Bitcoin Depot has suffered a significant security breach in which hackers stole $3.6 million from the company's corporate wallets.
The incident, which occurred on March 23, saw the thief gain access to Bitcoin Depot's systems and transfer 50.903 bitcoin to their own control.
Brian Coats, CEO of Bitcoin Depot, had stepped down just weeks before due to business pressures, but it is unclear if this was related to the breach.
