Riyadh's Global Blockchain Show Sets Stage for Next-Generation Web3
Riyadh has emerged as a major player in the global blockchain and AI sectors after hosting the Global Blockchain Show, which took place from June 29-30, 2026. The event drew over 15,000 registrations and welcomed more than 6,700 attendees from around the world, featuring 100+ global speakers and 100 exhibitors.
The summit focused on structural tech innovations that are changing the back end of Web3, including chain abstraction and data infrastructure needed to support enterprise tech. Co-located with the Global AI Show Riyadh and Global Games Show Riyadh, the event highlighted the convergence of decentralized networks, AI, and immersive digital platforms.
Keynote speakers included Meow, co-founder of Jupiter, who stated that 'decentralized finance has demonstrated that financial systems can be transparent, programmable, and globally accessible.' Shabir Momin, president and founder of TorusChain, emphasized the importance of innovation, enterprise adoption, and technologies shaping the next generation of decentralized ecosystems.
