DTCC to Integrate Stellar Network by 2027 for Tokenized Assets

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is expanding its digital market strategy with the planned integration of its platform with the Stellar network by 2027.

Tokenized stocks, ETFs, and Treasuries are expected to operate across multiple blockchain networks as part of DTCC's efforts to modernize issuance, settlement, and lifecycle management.

The move is also designed to reduce settlement delays and free up collateral, with the goal of building an open, interoperable digital infrastructure that links traditional markets with emerging blockchain rails.
