Warren Slams Trump's Crypto Profits as 'Corruption Plain and Simple'

US Senator Elizabeth Warren has criticized President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency earnings, calling them 'corruption, plain and simple'.

In a recent post on X, Warren stated that the Clarity Act should prevent the president, vice president, members of Congress, senior administration officials, and their families from continuing to profit from cryptocurrency ventures.

Trump reportedly generated an estimated $1.4 billion in income from cryptocurrency ventures in 2025, exceeding the annual earnings of every publicly traded US crypto company.

Roughly $800 million came from World Liberty Financial, while the remainder was generated through the Official Trump memecoin and other digital asset ventures.
