Crypto Market Turmoil: Bitcoin and Ethereum Prices Slump Amid Liquidity Drain
The crypto market has been facing significant volatility in recent days, and the latest update is no exception. In the past 24 hours, both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) prices have slid below key levels, raising concerns about further decline.
According to data, BTC's price plummeted by over 4.6% from its highs at $67,684 to an intraday low of around $64,290. Similarly, ETH's price dropped by nearly 5% from $1,957 to $1,848 after holding the support at $1,914 for nearly a week.
The market capitalization of altcoins also took a hit, with Solana experiencing a nearly 9% pullback and losing its crucial $80 support. XRP, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin Cash each experienced over a 5% drop in price, reaching $1.34, $0.092, and $539.07, respectively.
However, some altcoins displayed strength during this period, with Pippin leading the top gainers with a nearly 34.36% jump, followed by Kite with an 18.30% rise and Memecore & Toncoin with over a 2% increase.
