Ripple Wins Preliminary Approval for MiCA License in Luxembourg

Ripple has secured preliminary approval for a Crypto Asset Service Provider license in Luxembourg under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation.

The license will allow Ripple to extend regulated cryptoasset services across all thirty countries within the European Economic Area, expanding its payments infrastructure while operating under a unified regulatory framework.

Ripple stated that the license complements its existing Electronic Money Institution authorization within the European Union, enabling financial institutions to access cryptoasset and stablecoin payment services through a single integration process.
