UK Lawmaker Requests Investigation into Nigel Farage's Crypto Promotion

A UK lawmaker has asked the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to investigate Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party, over his promotional video for Stack BTC.

The lawmaker, Daisy Cooper, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrat party, wrote a letter to FCA CEO Nikhil Rathi asking him to look into whether Farage's actions may be a case of market manipulation or conflict of interest.

Farage invested £215,000 in Stack BTC and made a £2 million purchase on behalf of the company. The promotional video sparked concerns that Farage was promoting cryptocurrencies to inflate their value for his own financial benefit.
