Fetch.ai Releases Tutorial on Building Autonomous Image Generation Agents

Fetch.ai has released a developer tutorial on building an autonomous agent that generates images using Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Image model and distributes them through its decentralized infrastructure.

The tutorial guides developers in constructing a 'mailbox agent' using Python and Fetch.ai's open-source uagents library, which takes text prompts, feeds them to the Gemini model, and uploads resulting visuals to Agentverse ExternalStorage.

This integration is part of Fetch.ai's ongoing partnership with Google, which began in April 2024. The platform has signaled plans to extend plugin support to future Google Gemini models, including Gemini 3 and what's called Nano Banana Pro.

Although the tutorial doesn't mention cryptocurrency, it marks a significant step in building developer-facing infrastructure that stands on its own merit. The continued integration with Google's AI models adds credibility to Fetch.ai's efforts in the space.
