Bitcoin Faces Elevated Bond Yields Amid Tightening Liquidity
Cryptocurrency analyst Darkfost has pointed out that Bitcoin is facing one of its most challenging US Treasury yield environments since its inception.
The long-term US bond yield remains elevated, with the 30-year and 10-year bond yields fluctuating in the range of 4.5% to 5%, according to Darkfost.
This high-yield environment has led to a tightening liquidity environment and a high funding cost, causing investors to allocate more to low-risk fixed-income assets.
This, in turn, weakens the attractiveness of risk assets, including Bitcoin.
