Crypto Exchange Founders Clash Over Past Allegations

A long-standing dispute between the founders of OKX and Binance has resurfaced, sparking a heated exchange between Star Xu and Changpeng Zhao.

The conflict, which originated in 2015 when Zhao was working at OKCoin, a company founded by Xu, centers around allegations of misconduct and misleading statements made by Zhao against Xu during his tenure.

In a recent series of posts on X, Xu revisited the decade-old issues, calling CZ 'a habitual liar' and presenting evidence that supports his claims. According to Xu, a video shows conflicting contract versions, which he believes contradicts Zhao's previous denials.

The dispute escalated when Xu questioned whether Zhao had misrepresented his marital status, referencing earlier reporting in CoinDesk. In response, Zhao stated that he is 'officially divorced' and challenged Xu to a $1 billion bet or any amount of his choice to verify the agreement.
