Bitcoin Surges on Strong Accumulation and Institutional Interest
Bitcoin's market value reached a new milestone as it surpassed $81,000 on Tuesday. The price increase was fueled by a significant accumulation of coins by long-term holders and institutional investors.
According to data from CryptoQuant, long-term holders have added over 330,000 BTC to their holdings in the last month. This amount is equivalent to approximately 1.6% of the total supply, indicating a substantial increase in accumulation as the price begins to rebound.
The strong inflows into US-based spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) also contributed to the price surge. For three consecutive days, investors have poured $1.18 billion into these investment instruments, suggesting that institutional interest in Bitcoin is growing.
