Crypto Market Hype: Analysts Predict $150K Bitcoin, Ethereum Eyes $8K
The cryptocurrency market continues to be driven by various predictions and upgrades from leading protocols.
Analysts such as Bernstein have set a target of $150,000 for Bitcoin by the end of the year, citing the growth of ETF AUM and pension fund allocations. This prediction is based on the assumption that ETF AUM will double from its current level of $128 billion to reach $250 billion.
Ethereum's price is also expected to increase following its upcoming Pectra upgrade, with Standard Chartered projecting a price range of $7,000 to $8,000. Fundstrat's Tom Lee has also predicted an upside of around 200% to 220% from current levels.
Meanwhile, Cardano's Protocol 11 upgrade has been confirmed for late June, but its impact on ADA's price remains uncertain. The upgrade will deliver enhanced Plutus primitives and node security, but the market appears to be waiting for delivery rather than announcements.
