Crypto Market Opens June with Red Numbers and Stellar Surges
The crypto market kicked off June on a negative note, with the CoinDesk 20 Index (CD20) falling by 2% since midnight UTC.
Bitcoin and Ether both dropped around 1%, with Bitcoin currently trading at $72,700. This marks the sixth time in seven days that Bitcoin has closed in the red.
The decline in value is likely due to ongoing tensions between the US and Iran, which failed to translate into reduced tensions in the region.
