Zapper Shuts Down Amid Weakened Sentiment and Funding Crunch

DeFi dashboard provider Zapper is shutting down its operations after seven years in business. The company, which had previously scaled to over 2 million monthly active users and processed more than $13 billion in transactions at its peak, cited 'orderly wind-down' as the best course of action.

According to CEO Seb Audet, falling demand played a role in the decision to shut down. 'The market decides,' he said in a post on X, without providing further details.

Zapper's shutdown joins several other crypto platforms that have paused operations this year as sentiment weakens and funding becomes harder to obtain. The company had faced setbacks, including a social engineering attack in April 2025 that briefly redirected users via a hijacked domain.
