David Sacks Steps Down as AI and Crypto Advisor to Join Trump Tech Council

David Sacks, formerly known as the 'AI and crypto czar', has announced his departure from the Trump administration's virtual-asset policy role. He will now serve as co-chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), a newly created body aimed at promoting technology advancement in the US.

The PCAST advisory panel includes notable figures from Silicon Valley, such as Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg, and Larry Ellison, along with prominent virtual-asset investors like Marc Andreessen. Sacks emphasized that he will work with this group of experts to develop policy recommendations for maintaining America's technological leadership.
