Avalanche Payments Collective Launched with 28 Firms

Avalanche has launched the Avalanche Payments Collective, a formal group of 28 organizations focused on blockchain payment infrastructure. The collective includes firms such as Franklin Templeton, VanEck, Anchorage Digital, Paxos, and Agora.

The initiative covers various aspects of blockchain payments, including settlement, stablecoins, treasury tools, foreign exchange, custody, compliance, and merchant acceptance. It also enables cross-border payments across its network.

Avalanche Chief Business Officer John Nahas stated that interconnected ecosystems are necessary to create global payments, rather than relying on a single company or product.
