Lubin-linked Wallet Moves 80,000 ETH, Raising Fears of an Ethereum Dump
Ethereum's investor sentiment has been under pressure lately, with several high-profile investors revealing their decision to exit their ETH positions. Just days ago, Bankless co-founder David Hoffman disclosed that he had sold his entire Ethereum position, while the Milk Road analyst m0xt revealed that he too had exited his holdings.
Now, a wallet linked to Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin has moved 80,001 ETH worth over $121 million after a three-year period of inactivity. According to Arkham Intelligence's data, the wallet transferred two separate transactions of 40,000 ETH each through the blockchain.
The sudden movement has sparked fears among investors that Lubin may be preparing to sell his Ethereum holdings. However, there is currently no concrete evidence to support this theory. No public statement from Lubin or Consensys has suggested that the transfers were linked to a liquidation plan.
