Institutional Crypto Landscape Evolves at Hack Seasons Conference
A recent panel discussion at the Hack Seasons Conference in Cannes brought together senior market participants to review current developments in institutional digital-asset finance.
The panel, moderated by Harry Grant, DeFi Manager at Re7, explored how capital is shifting across the digital-asset landscape. They focused on tokenization, infrastructure, and AI, as well as their impact on real-world assets and regulation.
According to the panelists, tokenization and real-world assets are becoming central in the market, while infrastructure remains a crucial foundation for adoption to scale. Infrastructure was described as the base layer that must become invisible for widespread adoption, allowing users to focus on higher-level tasks.
The panel also discussed AI, which is seen as a practical tool for improving reporting, automation, compliance, forecasting, and user services in financial systems. They emphasized that AI should be used to augment human capabilities, rather than replace them.
