Strategy CEO Outlines Bitcoin Sales Conditions to Reassure Investors
Strategy CEO Phong Le has clarified the conditions under which the company will sell its bitcoin holdings, addressing concerns that had been raised by co-founder Michael Saylor's recent comments.
Speaking on CNBC’s Power Lunch, Le emphasized that any decision to sell would be based purely on financial considerations and framed as 'math over ideology.'
The company currently holds 818,334 BTC, worth over $66 billion, making it the largest publicly traded bitcoin treasury company. Le stated that selling some of this stash could provide an accretive way for the company to fund its dividends while offsetting taxes.
