Expert Warns Investors to Look Beyond Top Cryptocurrencies for Strong Opportunities

Cryptocurrency expert Jamie Coutts has expressed concerns about the future of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana in a recent interview.

He notes that these major assets have not broken above key resistance levels, indicating that the downtrend may not be over yet. Additionally, activity across major blockchain networks has continued to weaken, with most on-chain activity slowing down and leaving the largest networks in negative growth territory.

Coutts believes that investors are becoming more selective about where they allocate capital and are looking for projects with real growth, rising on-chain activity, and stronger fundamentals. He highlights several altcoins, including NEAR, Venice, Hyperliquid, and Zcash, as potential opportunities due to their improving activity and usage.

Coutts also points out that the recent rally in the market may not be a sign of a new bull run but rather a typical bear market bounce. He notes that major market flushes often lead to another leg lower before a true recovery begins.
