Bitcoin Nears Critical Threshold as US ETF Holders Reach Average Entry Cost
Cryptocurrency markets are closely watching the price of Bitcoin as it approaches a critical threshold. According to an analysis by Axel AdlerJr, a quantitative analyst at BlockBeats News, Bitcoin's current price has reached the average entry cost of US Bitcoin ETF holders.
This average entry cost is estimated to be around $74,200, and if Bitcoin can maintain this level, it could signal a significant shift in market dynamics. Specifically, it would indicate that these ETF holders have transitioned from losses to breakeven, or a neutral position.
However, if the price were to fall below this threshold, it could suggest continued market weakness and pressure on Bitcoin's price. To further complicate matters, the Short-Term Holders (STH) have a cost basis of around $83,734, which serves as a major resistance level in the current market.
The analyst believes that only when the cost basis of ETF holders narrows further towards the STH cost basis gap can we expect more significant improvements in the Bitcoin market structure. This would allow for greater stability and potentially even growth in the cryptocurrency's price.
