Blockchain Sector Sees Surge in AI Development

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is driving innovation in the cryptocurrency sector, with several projects making significant strides in AI development.

According to data from Santiment, Chainlink has emerged as a leader in AI development, followed closely by DFINITY Foundation's ICP and NEAR Protocol. These three projects have topped the list of top 10 AI-focused crypto projects based on development activity.

The ranking methodology used by Santiment removes lower-value actions and avoids distortions that can come from forks, comments, or project management activity. This approach provides a more accurate view of actual programming work across public repositories and allows for a more comparable measure of development across crypto organizations.
