Institutions Bet Big on XRP Amid Market Slowdown

A survey of institutional investors has revealed that a significant number plan to add XRP to their portfolios in 2026, despite the current market slowdown.

The study, conducted by Coinbase with Ernst & Young, surveyed 351 institutional investors, most managing assets above $1 billion. The findings show a clear pattern: participation remains strong, but strategies are changing.

Around 73% of respondents intend to increase their crypto exposure this year, while 29% expect digital assets to account for more than 5% of their portfolios.

This shift in strategy indicates that institutions still expect the market to recover over the next year and are repositioning for future opportunities.
