Coinbase Unveils Unified Account for Financial Services

Coinbase is expanding its services beyond traditional cryptocurrency trading by introducing a unified account that combines multiple financial products in one platform. The exchange, led by executive Max Branzburg, aims to create an 'Everything Exchange' where users can access crypto assets, stocks, commodities, derivatives, payments, and lending around the clock.

The company highlighted its recent product launches, including a High Yield USDC vault that allows users to lend stablecoins through decentralized finance infrastructure. Coinbase has also been increasing its presence in event-based trading, with its prediction market business exceeding $100 million in annualized revenue in March.

Coinbase is further integrating artificial intelligence tools into its platform, including the Coinbase Advisor feature and the recently launched Coinbase for Agents system that connects large language models to user accounts. The company plans to add support for stocks and prediction markets to the agent framework at a later stage.
