Bitcoin Exchange Withdrawals Reach All-Time High Amid Large-Scale Accumulation

Bitcoin exchange withdrawals have hit an unprecedented level, with over $2 billion worth of BTC withdrawn in a single day. This sudden spike has raised eyebrows among analysts, who believe it could be indicative of a large-scale accumulation of BTC on the market.

According to data from CryptoQuant, the total outflow for the week reached approximately 47,700 BTC, one of the highest weekly figures over the past year. The majority of this withdrawal came from Bitfinex, which saw its largest daily BTC outflow since June 2025 at around 25,000 BTC.

The analysis suggests that this behavior is commonly observed during large spot purchases, where assets are acquired on exchange and then moved to cold custody. This could indicate that a significant amount of capital is flowing into the market, potentially leading to a fresh round of accumulation.
