Ethereum Foundation Completes Large-Scale ETH Token Sale

The Ethereum Foundation has announced the completion of another significant ETH token sale, marking the latest in a series of transactions aimed at supporting the ecosystem's growth.

According to the organization, 10,000 ETH tokens were sold at an average price of $2,292.15, resulting in a total value of approximately $22.9 million.

The sale was conducted through an over-the-counter (OTC) transaction with Bitmine, a cryptocurrency investment company, as the counterparty.

While OTC transactions are often favored by institutional players for their ability to facilitate high-volume sales without disrupting market prices, this latest development is unlikely to have any immediate impact on the broader ETH market.
