BitGo Introduces Portfolio-Based Financing Solution for Institutional Investors

BitGo, a digital asset infrastructure provider, has launched a new financing solution aimed at institutional market participants. The platform enables organizations to secure loans and generate yield using their cryptocurrency portfolios without leaving their primary custody environment.

The service, operated by BitGo Prime, LLC, allows users to leverage their liquid, staked, and vesting crypto holdings as collateral within a unified custody setup. Accepted collateral assets include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and various stablecoins.

This portfolio-level collateralization model eliminates the need for juggling multiple lending partners and manual cross-platform transfers. Institutional participants can simultaneously function as lenders, deploying qualified assets to earn returns or obtain working capital for market operations and balance sheet management.
