Top Altcoin Projects by Weekly Active Users Revealed

The cryptocurrency market's top altcoin projects by weekly active users have been revealed. BNB Chain takes the lead with an impressive 14.4 million users, followed closely by Tron with 8.9 million and Solana with 7.9 million.

According to the latest data, these figures are based on unique addresses that initiated transactions or interacted with the protocol within the last 7 days. The weekly active user metric is a key indicator for measuring user engagement, network adoption, and ecosystem activity for blockchain networks and decentralized applications.

Layer-1 blockchain networks dominate the top of the list, but Layer-2 networks like opBNB and decentralized exchanges like PancakeSwap and Uniswap also show impressive numbers. Looking at the changes over the last 30 days, opBNB recorded a significant 40% increase in user base.

Other projects that saw growth include Polygon (22.2%), Celo (16.3%), Ethereum (6%), and Tron (5.6%). However, some projects experienced declines, with Uniswap seeing a 17.4% drop in weekly active users and NEAR Protocol experiencing a 17.1% decrease.
