Altcoin Recovery Gains Momentum as Bitcoin Battles Key Resistance
Bitcoin and several major altcoins are showing signs of recovery as buying pressure builds.
The price of XRP has formed an ascending triangle on its daily chart, indicating a potential bullish reversal. The asset is currently trading at $1.13, with a clear rising trendline support beneath the price action. The structure suggests that buyers have been drawn to each pullback, creating a higher low sequence throughout July.
However, XRP still faces resistance from a group of moving averages above it, and a close above the 50-day EMA at $1.17 would be crucial for further upside. If successful, the focus would shift to the 100-day EMA around $1.24, followed by the psychologically significant $1.30 area.
Cardano's recovery potential is also improving, with ADA currently trading at $0.175. The asset has regained important short-term moving averages and established a higher low structure, turning momentum back to buyers. The 20-day and 50-day EMAs have stabilized price action, while the RSI has risen above 56, indicating strengthening bullish momentum.
Stellar is quietly building one of the cleanest recovery structures among major altcoins. XLM has been consolidating above important moving averages for weeks, currently trading close to $0.19. The convergence of the 20-, 50-, and 100-day EMAs around current price levels indicates an impending increase in volatility.
Bitcoin is rebounding from its severe decline in June, establishing a sequence of higher lows and improving market structure. However, the biggest obstacle remains directly above, with the 100-day EMA close to $68,000 serving as a crucial battlefield for Bitcoin.
