Strategy Resumes Bitcoin Purchases with $43 Million Acquisition

Strategy, the Bitcoin treasury firm backed by Michael Saylor, has made another significant purchase of Bitcoin. According to a recent filing, the company acquired 535 BTC for $43 million at an average price of $80,340 per coin.

This acquisition marks the resumption of Strategy's Bitcoin buying spree after a brief pause last week ahead of its earnings report on May 5. The firm has been expanding its cryptocurrency holdings aggressively in recent months, and this move is seen as part of that strategy.

As of May 10, Strategy held a reserve of 818,869 BTC worth over $66 billion at prevailing prices. This stash was acquired for $61.86 billion at $75,540 per coin, resulting in a YTD yield of 9.4%.
