Ethereum's Network Activity Surges, but Price Remains Flat
Ethereum's smart contract activity has been on a tear, reaching an all-time high in just 15 days. According to analysis from CryptoOnchain, the number of transfers generated by external contract calls surged from 142,194 on April 10 to over 309,032 on April 25, representing a 117% increase.
This significant uptick in network activity has not been reflected in the price of Ethereum, which remains stagnant around $2,340. The gap between network usage and price movement is seen as a sign that the market has not yet priced in the increased utility of the Ethereum network.
