ShapeShift Founder Erik Voorhees Boosts Ethereum Holdings with $49M Investment

Erik Voorhees, the founder of cryptocurrency exchange ShapeShift and Bitcoin pioneer, has resumed his Ethereum buying activity with a significant investment. According to on-chain data, Voorhees spent approximately $49 million acquiring 23,393 ETH.

This purchase marks a continuation of his previous efforts to accumulate Ethereum, which he had put on hold for over a year. During that time, he sold 12,886 ETH at an average price of around $3,300 each, generating over $42 million in revenue.
