Dubai Issues 50th VASP License to Tribe Tokenisation FZE
Dubai has awarded its 50th Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license to Tribe Tokenisation FZE, a real-world asset tokenization platform. The license marks a significant milestone in Dubai's efforts to establish a regulated framework for digital assets.
The VASP license was granted by Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), which requires newly licensed firms to undergo a trial or operational probation period before offering services or onboarding customers.
Tribe Tokenisation FZE focuses on tokenizing physical and financial assets on blockchain networks, increasing liquidity, fractionalizing ownership, and reducing transaction costs for traditionally illiquid assets.
Dubai's regulatory clarity has attracted a growing number of crypto firms, including exchanges, custodians, and tokenization platforms. The 50th license issuance signals that the regulatory pipeline is active and VARA is methodically expanding the ecosystem.
