A recent hacking incident has affected Rhea Finance, a DeFi platform part of the NEAR Protocol, causing around $18.4 million in financial losses.
The attackers exploited vulnerabilities in the slippage protection feature, draining all liquidity from the main pool and leaving behind significant damage to the protocol's funds.
Rhea Finance management has stated that they will use their available resources to recover the losses for affected users.
