The operator of an Ethereum MEV bot known as Jaredfromsubway.eth has been hacked for approximately $7.5 million, with around 2,150 ETH drained from its contracts.
The hacker exploited a vulnerability in the bot's automated execution system and the operator is offering a 50% white-hat bounty to return the stolen funds within 48 hours.
This attack highlights the persistent security risks in DeFi, where MEV bots can be vulnerable to sophisticated exploits due to their large sums of capital.
