Trump Administration Forms Tech Advisory Panel with Industry Leaders
President Donald Trump's administration is planning to establish a technology advisory panel comprising prominent business leaders. According to sources, the committee will include CEOs from major tech companies such as Meta Platforms, Oracle, and NVIDIA.
The PCAST, or President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, will be co-chaired by White House AI and cryptocurrency advisor Andrew Sacks and technology advisor Michael Kratsios. The committee is expected to provide input on artificial intelligence policies and other related topics.
A total of 13 industry members are set to be appointed on Wednesday, with Google co-founder Sergey Brin among the selected individuals. The panel may eventually comprise up to 24 members as outlined in an executive order signed by President Trump.
