Tusk Accuses Cryptocurrency Firm of Influencing Polish Politics

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has made a series of allegations against a cryptocurrency firm, Zondacrypto, in the Polish parliament. Tusk claimed that Zondacrypto had sponsored politicians from the former national-conservative government, including those from the Law and Justice party and the far-right Confederation.

Zondacrypto was also accused of promoting conservative forces by financing politicians who were opposed to regulations for the crypto-asset market. The firm allegedly provided financial support to these politicians in exchange for their votes against the new legislation.

The accusations come as Poland's parliament prepares to vote on new regulations for the crypto-asset market. Tusk claimed that Zondacrypto's financial success is linked to Russian money and secret services, specifically the Bratva mafia group.
