Avalanche's native asset AVAX has seen an 8 percent surge in price over the past 24 hours, trading at approximately $7.07.

This rebound follows a tough month where the token lost over 24 percent of its value but leaves AVAX far below its all-time high of $147.50 set in November 2021.

The resurgence can be attributed to FIFA's decision to deploy its ticketing and fan loyalty infrastructure for the 2026 World Cup on a blockchain based on Avalanche technology.

This platform, unveiled in May 2025, centers on digital collectibles and aims to boost worldwide fan participation.
