Kraken Pro has introduced TradFi futures for eligible EU clients, enabling them to trade fixed-term contracts on major equity indices, commodities, and FX markets using the same interface as their crypto accounts.
The new feature offers extended trading hours, with TradFi futures following the CME Group schedule of 23 hours a day, 5 days a week. This allows traders to respond to market events outside standard brokerage hours, which typically close at 4pm ET.
TradFi futures on Kraken Pro include equity indices such as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, commodities like gold and oil, and FX markets. Traders can go long or short, use leverage, hedge their crypto exposure, and access extended hours to trade TradFi markets outside standard equity market hours.
The platform is CySEC-compliant and follows CME Group standards. Customers who fund their TradFi futures wallet receive free real-time Level 1 market data, with optional Level 2 available for deeper order book visibility.
