ClearBank secures MiCA license, expands European operations

Netherlands-based ClearBank has made a significant step in expanding its presence in the European market by obtaining a license under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.

The bank secured a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), which will enable it to provide a wider range of services related to digital currencies.

ClearBank plans to strengthen its partnership with Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, to fully launch services for USDC and EURC. This move is expected to enhance the bank's capabilities in supporting digital currencies and providing more comprehensive services to its clients.
