Bitcoin Surges Above $78,000 Following Iran's New Peace Proposal
The price of Bitcoin has seen a significant surge following news that Iran had submitted a new peace proposal to US mediators through Pakistan. According to reports, the proposal was sent through Pakistani mediators and is being viewed as a positive development in the ongoing negotiations between the US and Iran.
As a result of this news, the price of Bitcoin has broken above $78,000, with a 3% increase on the day. This comes after a strong month for Bitcoin ETFs, which saw $1.97 billion in inflows in April, the highest monthly figure of 2026.
Analyst Ali Charts notes that Bitcoin has not yet tested its ultimate floor zones at $54,145 and $43,316, suggesting that there may be further volatility in the market. Despite this, the current price move is seen as a positive sign for the crypto market, which is expected to continue trending upwards.
