CLARITY Act Clears Final Hurdle, Heads to Senate Floor Vote

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong says the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act) is ready for a full Senate floor vote, citing that it has made significant progress and is now at the 'one-yard line' of passage.

The bill aims to provide clarity on how digital assets are regulated in the US, which would benefit Coinbase and other crypto firms operating in the country.

Armstrong noted that 70% of American voters believe that the US should have already passed comprehensive crypto legislation, highlighting the need for a clear rulebook to operate under.

Coinbase has been advocating for the CLARITY Act through its advocacy group Stand With Crypto, which has mobilized over 950,000 contacts among lawmakers in Congress.
