Pi Network's price has surged by 10.5% in the past 24 hours to $0.09344, significantly outperforming a broadly flat crypto market.

The Pi Core Team has scheduled the Protocol v25 upgrade for July 22, 2026, which will introduce privacy-preserving smart contracts and support for zero-knowledge proofs.

This upgrade aims to enhance the network's utility for enterprise and payment applications, bringing it closer to a fully functional smart-contract blockchain.
