Singaporean Firm Among Few to Clear EU Crypto Regulations

As Europe's crypto industry consolidates under new regulations, only about 280 firms have secured full EEA-wide authorisation since MiCA took effect. One of those is Paymonade, a Singaporean-founded company that provides regulated fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat infrastructure services.

Paymonade has been granted a licence by Liechtenstein's Financial Market Authority, allowing it to operate across the 30 states of the European Economic Area with a single passportable licence. The firm serves payment providers, fintechs, and cryptocurrency exchanges that need euro and other fiat currency settlement rails.

With an annualised transaction volume run-rate of US$1.8 billion as of the first half of 2026, Paymonade ranks among the more substantial fiat on- and off-ramp infrastructure providers operating under the new MiCA regime.
