White House Taps Tech Leaders for Science Advisory Council

David Sacks, the White House's Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Crypto czar, has been appointed as co-chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). This new role expands his responsibilities within the Trump administration.

The council will include up to 24 members, including prominent tech industry leaders such as Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. As AI and crypto czar, Sacks has played a key role in shaping the administration's technology agenda.

In his previous position, Sacks helped drive policy shifts aimed at reshaping U.S. artificial intelligence strategy. This included rolling back prior restrictions and expanding federal oversight of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain.
