$HYPE Token Surges 80%, But Growth Concerns Emerge

Despite a slowdown in the broader crypto market, Hyperliquid's $HYPE token has seen a significant surge in recent months. The token's price has risen nearly 80% over the past 90 days, outpacing major altcoins.

The growth story behind $HYPE is less convincing than its price increase. Key metrics such as user activity and revenue are not growing at the same rate as the token's price. This raises concerns that the rally may not be fully supported by fundamentals.

Despite a 4.7% drop in a week, the token has seen a monthly hike of about 7%. However, investors are now paying more for each dollar of revenue, with the token's fully diluted price-to-sales ratio climbing to 47.3, up 67% quarter over quarter.
