North Korean IT Worker Infiltrates Dubai-Based Cryptocurrency Exchange
A Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange has taken steps to ensure the security of its users' funds after discovering that a North Korean IT worker was previously part of the company's leadership.
The individual, who had been supported by other North Korean operatives, was part of Stabble's team until a year ago. An audit revealed this information, which prompted the exchange to issue an alert to its users.
Stabble, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that enables trading on the Solana currency without marginal losses, is urging its users to temporarily withdraw their funds from the platform as a precautionary measure.
