Crypto Adoption Hinges on Trust, Say Experts at Consensus Miami 2026
At the recent Consensus Miami 2026 summit, a panel of industry experts discussed the challenges facing broader cryptocurrency adoption.
The consensus among the panelists from Circle, U.S. Bank, and ChangeNOW was that trust is the primary barrier to wider adoption, driven by complexity, jargon, and misinformation.
Speakers emphasized that trust can be built gradually through user experience rather than technical claims alone.
Ali Tager of the National Cryptocurrency Association noted that research shows non-crypto holders are often deterred by complexity and lack of understanding, while Britt Cambas of Circle highlighted the importance of clarity and simplicity in product design.
